In my maths knowledge I am in the stage 4 group with Mrs Scott. I am good at pluses in my Maths knowledge.I got a gold for my maths knowledge. I got a green from skip counting in 5s so that is what I need to work on.
Reading Term 2.
In reading this week I read 5 chapters of the book 'Wet' the reading eggspress App.I used the read-back function.
Something I learned was that crocodiles have there eyes and nose and ears.
I passed all of the comprehension tests. I needed to re- read 5 chapters.
Term 2 Using interest vocabulary.The 'wow' word I used in my bird poem was flying very softly.Something I could improve is to add more interesting vocabulary.
In inquiry with Miss Palamountain we drew a NZ wetlands insect.It is purple and blue. It has spots on it.Why does it have spots?The antennae are black.It has black strips on it. Something I did well was the purple on the wings.Somethings I could improve is the background.
In inquiry we made a diorama to show what we learned about the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi at Clive.
I assessed my diorama as a 3 because I didn't finish my chief and people. To improve I need to add more people.
WALT: find and stretch words using our thumbs. We also look for blends, chunks of sounds rhyme and word endings to help us with unknown words.
Next Step: attempt unknown words and read on and think about what would make sense.
In swimming I am in the dolphins group.
